What Are "Emails Monitored"?

"Emails monitored" refers to the total number of emails reported in your DMARC aggregate reports each month. When email providers like Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo send DMARC reports for your domain, each report includes a count of emails they processed. MailShield sums these counts across all your domains for the current calendar month.

This metric reflects how much email traffic is flowing through your domains — not the number of reports, but the actual emails referenced in those reports. The counter resets at the start of each calendar month.

TIP

You can see your current email volume usage on the Settings > Billing page.

Managing Your Subscription

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Navigate to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select your new plan
  4. Choose monthly or annual billing
  5. Complete payment

Upgrades take effect immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing period.

Downgrading Your Plan

When downgrading:

  • The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • Ensure you're within the new plan's limits before the change takes effect
  • If you exceed limits, you'll need to remove domains or members first

Cancelling Your Subscription

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm cancellation

Your account will revert to the Free plan at the end of the billing period. You'll retain access to your data, but may need to reduce domains/members to fit within Free plan limits.
